Dr. Adrienne Goldsworthy
HBSc, DC Chiropractor

Dr. Adrienne grew up in and out of the Goldsworthy Wellness Clinic, as a patient, chiropractic assistant, chiropractic intern, and now a chiropractor!

She grew up in the region and competed in many sports including badminton, soccer, volleyball and cross country running. She attended the University of Waterloo and was a member of the Varsity Badminton team and Captain of the Women’s Varsity Soccer team. She graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2019.

Growing up in a chiropractic household, Dr. Adrienne has seen firsthand the benefits of chiropractic care. She is passionate about keeping people in all stages of their life moving at their best . She utilizes many different treatment options including chiropractic manipulation, myofascial release techniques, toggle board adjustments, exercise, stretching, and nutrition.

Dr. Jeff Goldsworthy
HBSc, DC Chiropractor

Dr. Jeff Goldsworthy graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1983 and the Canadian Chiropractic College in 1987. He is an avid sportsman, is a former member of the National Badminton Team and still plays competitively. He has won the Canadian and U.S. Open Masters Championships.

Dr. Jeff has taken numerous post graduate courses including sports injuries and rehabilitation, pediatrics, x-ray and nutrition and has treated numerous national team athletes. He treats using a combination of chiropractic manipulation, active release therapy, stretching, exercise and nutrition.

Dr. Mirela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology Co-op from the University of Waterloo. During her time at UW, she completed a co-op term at Goldsworthy Wellness Centre and is excited to be back! She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Mirela takes an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care and enjoys seeing a variety of conditions from headaches to foot pain and everything in between. She likes to use a combination of therapies including chiropractic adjustments, toggle board adjustments, myofascial release therapy, modalities, exercise prescription, and integrated dry needling.


Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mirela likes to try new recipes, see friends and family, spend time outdoors, and spoil the family golden retriever puppies.

Dr. Mirela Buragina

Aimee Paikera
RMT

Aimee Paikera is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been practicing since 1997. She is a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto. Aimee has worked in Vancouver, the GTA, and now Waterloo.

Aimee views massage therapy as a unique opportunity to assist individuals recovering from injuries, to manage chronic conditions, and to address their physical goals by encouraging a functional balance between mind and body. Whether a patient is seeking overall stress relief or treatment for specific pain, chronic condition, or injury, Aimee is dedicated to working with her clients to develop an ideal treatment plan that will achieve their goals. She enjoys using her technical skills and knowledge by incorporating Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, cranialsacral therapy, joint mobilization and reiki into her sessions.

Andrzej Bugiel
Physiotherapist, Osteopath

Andrzej graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland with a Master of Movement Rehabilitation Diploma and from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton with Master Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Science (M.OMS) . He is also a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA).

Andrzej uses osteopathy: craniosacral therapy, facilitated positional release, myofacial release, muscle energy technique, post-isometric relaxation, reciprocal inhibition, joint mobilization, respiratory assistance, oculocephalogyric reflex (cervical), strain/counterstrain and visceral manipulation in his approach to patient care.

Tara Blain
Ac, CST, Registered Acupuncturist

Tara studied Chinese as well as Japanese acupuncture and graduated in June of 2005. As a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture she is entitled to use the designation Ac (Acupuncturist) after her name.

She is a firm believer in continuing education and has plans to take future courses in cosmetic acupuncture, aromatherapy and herbology.
